Sunflower Mosaic -Tile Backsplash-Handmade Tile
The Sunflower Tile Mosaic consists of 36 handmade porcelain tiles that have been glazed with a cheery gold and yellow sunflower against a sky blue background. Each tile was first fired to 'bisc' and then hand painted. A clear glaze has been applied on top of the design and the completed tiles underwent their second firing and where they were fired to 'stoneware' hardness. The Sunflower Mosaic is washable and can be used indoor or outdoor. These tiles would are suitable for application to a wall.
Without grout, the Sunflower tile mosaic is approximately 14.5 inches square (~38 cm).
Please note, these handmade, artisan tiles that have been shaped and cut by hand and as a result, they have subtle variations and are not perfectly flat on their surface like a factory made tile.
