Ancient Cherub Artisan Tile or Coordinating Flat Tiles
The Ancient Cherub tiles are each formed by hand and then undergo their first firing in the kiln. They are then glazed by hand with four layers of a beautiful copper green glaze and then undergo a second firing in the kiln.
In the second firing, the glaze reacts in a unique way with the iron rich black clay and the end result is a beautiful, richly textured raised cherub (or flat tile).
Each tile is unique as it is made individually.
These tiles are each approx 1 .75" n size and coordinating smooth surface tile are also available in the drop down menu.
