Single 4" (approx. 100mm) Handmade and painted tile- Artisan "Vivid Garden" Handmade Tile - Artisan Tiles Stoneware tiles
This beautiful tile was made by hand from black Canadian clay and then glazed by hand with flowers in deep, vibrant colours in unexpected combinations. Each tile is a one of a kind piece of art.
The last photo shows the tile when combined with other 4" Vivid Garden tiles.
After glaze is applied by hand, the tile goes in the kiln and is removed about 30 hours later. The tile is 'stoneware' and not earthenware, having been fired to a temperature of 2250F.
The flowers are fired into the clay and as a result, the tiles can be used on floors, countertops, table tops or used as backsplash or decorative wall tiles. They are washable and can be used indoor or outdoor.
This tile would be a lovely accent piece or tile for your craft project.
